Protection Status

AMPEG has connected the Active Directory (AD) to Security Lighthouse to enable users to detect vulnerable systems in the network. Reconciliation of the information from the AD, and the update and AV systems, provides insight into those computers that are not equipped with virus protection and/or are not connected to the update distribution management system.

Real protection of the network cannot be guaranteed as long as all relevant computer systems fail to be equipped with both security solutions.

Systems that do not feature the required protection can be pinpointed in an efficient and focused manner on the Security Information Map, with lists and charts and appropriate counter-measures introduced.

Individual computer systems, which are not scheduled to be equipped with virus protection or patch management, can be linked via the administration console from within the analyses.
